Raffle Incentives
SYCAMORE PONY LEAGUE NEEDS YOUR HELP
In order to continue to upgrade and improve our uniforms and equipment we will again utilize a fundraiser. We hope to cover our expenses with the proceeds from a raffle. Although the raffle tickets are relatively easy to sell, they will not sell themselves. It is the responsibility of every player to sell ten tickets. Pony Baseball will not deposit your check until March 30th. This will give you plenty of time to sell your tickets.
NEED SOME MONEY FOR A NEW MITT OR BAT ??
After you have sold the first ten tickets, each subsequent group of 10 tickets will cost $80 which you may then sell for $100 (see incentive #3 below). We will buy back any of the unsold tickets after the first 10.
Remember, you have paid for the tickets already. If someone writes a check for their ticket, it should be made out to you or your parents.
INCENTIVES:
1 The top 3 place sellers (selling more than 50 tickets) will receive $100, $75 and $60 respectively.
2 Any other player selling 50 or more tickets will receive a $50 bonus. (The current record holder is Ian Kidd, 73 tickets sold.)
3 After selling 10 tickets, you will keep $20 for each group of ten tickets you sell. (i.e. If you sell 60 tickets you will earn $100 and be in the running for the $100 grand prize.)
You should begin to make calls immediately and pre-sell them as soon as you can. There will be other groups vying for the same customers, so don’t wait until the last minute. The drawing for the raffle will be May 9th, between games at the PONY Field.
