Sycamore Gladiators Part-Time Travel Program is a part of the Sycamore Youth Baseball organization. This program is intended for those players that are looking for the travel baseball experience without the full commitment of a full-time travel baseball program. Sycamore Gladiators is a part-time travel baseball program that participates in four local, part-time travel tournaments during the months of May - July, as well as participating in the SYB in-house program. Playing for the Sycamore Gladiators means your athlete is committed to the Sycamore Youth Baseball In-house Program and the Sycamore Gladiators Program and will not participate in any other baseball program during the season. Sycamore Gladiators field teams at the 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U levels, when there is enough talent to do so. 

The goal of the Sycamore Gladiators program is to: 

• Create an environment that will allow players to realize their capabilities as baseball players

• Develop confidence, self-esteem and poise as athletes

•  Have players understand that their achievements are a direct result of their efforts

• Cultivate lifelong friends amongst their teammates

• Develop Better Athletes, Better People by teaching life lessons through youth sports by subscribing to the Double-Goal Coaching Methodology as defined by Positive Coaching Alliance

• Support each other in all situations on and off the field

• Understand that sportsmanship, not showmanship is the major ingredient in playing with class.
